Useful for so many things, February 6, 2010 This review is from: Binder Clip Assortment, 30 Pieces, 3 Sizes: 1/2", 3/4", 1-1/2", Asst. Colors ACC71130 (Office Product) This assortment of binder clips is very useful, not just for papers.
Five things you probably never thought to use binder clips for:
- A great bookmark that won't lose your place.
- Keep bags of chips closed as well as bags of frozen vegetables.
- Hold a stack of credit cards together in a pocket or bag.
- Keep curtains closed to keep the light out, great for hotels.
- Use it to hold electronic cords in place, take the wire out and run the cord through, then replace the wire.
- Use as a key chain that won't get lost, again by removing and replacing the wire.
I love the different sizes all together in the handy little tub and having the colors is a lot of fun.
I haven't taken advantage of the colors for classification or identification purposes but I have some ideas about using them for different types of wires, to indicate when food was put in the freezer, or using green/yellow/red to prioritize paperwork...or something!

Colors ACC71130 (Office Product) Our office supply room where I work has an assortment of binder clips for use and I've used them for a variety of organizational purposes for many years, such as keeping sets of tests or assignments together. Every once in a while, I'll take my tests and quizzes home for grading and a few of the binder clips have been left there. My wife started using them to close bags of things which she put in the fridge and pantry. Boy are these things handy! They're much better than those fancy clips that are sold for kitchen purposes. They provide a real good tight hold and on a large bag, you can use several of them. They come in all sizes and I use some of the larger ones on bags of cat food and the like. I've now started using them in my shop and they're real handy there too. Very useful little objects!

Colors ACC71130 (Office Product) These things are great paper fasteners. They keep your work neat when you need to keep a manuscript together, but have easy access to individual pages. What a clever and innovative device. They're easy to use and very reliable. And with their various colors, they may be used to sort out different types of documents for color-coded file systems. I find them indespensible for a writer. Oh, I almost forgot...they're cheap, too.
